Who can use Smooth Mobility Transport?
Our service is primarily designed for seniors, patients, and individuals with reduced mobility, as well as their families and caregivers who are looking for a reliable, professional, and humane transportation solution.
What types of trips can I book with you?
We provide transportation for a variety of non-urgent needs, including:

• Medical & Hospital Appointments: Including dialysis, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, and regular follow-ups.
• Social & Community Outings: Visits to community or cultural centers.
• Life Essentials: Grocery shopping, errands, and visiting family.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Smooth Mobility Transport is a non-urgent service. For any medical emergency, you must call 911 immediately.
Do you transport individuals in wheelchairs?
Currently, our service is for individuals who do not require a motorized wheelchair. However, we are in the process of adding wheelchair-accessible vehicles to our fleet very soon to better serve the entire community.
Do you offer specific assistance for seniors?
Yes. We provide respectful and patient accompaniment. This includes physical assistance entering and exiting the vehicle, as well as staying on-site during your appointment if required.

Is your service bilingual?
Yes. We are proud to offer full service in both English and French. Our goal is to facilitate clear communication and reduce stress for our clients and their loved ones.
What regions do you serve?
Our primary service area is Hamilton and surrounding cities. We also offer transportation to certain zones within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) upon request.
Do you offer recurring trips?
Absolutely. We offer both one-time bookings and recurring schedules, which are ideal for long-term treatments like dialysis or regular therapy sessions.
Do you accept last-minute requests?
We do our best to be flexible. If our schedule and vehicle availability allow, we are happy to accommodate last-minute, non-medical urgent requests.

Our pricing is clear and fully transparent. Rates are communicated upfront and may vary based on the distance, type of trip, and waiting time. You will never encounter hidden fees or surprises.
Are these trips reimbursable by insurance?
Yes, depending on your specific coverage. Many non-urgent medical transports are partially covered by insurance providers. We provide detailed invoices to make your reimbursement process as easy as possible.
